The Pacific Export Growers Partnership (PGEP) is a transparent network of organisations that work in partnership towards delivering positive development outcomes to Pacific Island producers by using fair and transparent international supply chains. It is an initiative managed by Fair Match Support and facilitated by ACTIV Association in Vanuatu. Watch below how the program has impacted upon Joseph Merib, a small cocoa grower from Epi, and his community.
PGEP connects small Pacific Island producers to the world market and a transparent business support structure. Training, business support, regular market information and knowledge to producers are provided thus enabling them to play a more strategic role and possess a stronger negotiating position in the market place.
