What methods of Freight do you use
We ship US orders - depending on stock availability - direct from Florida. When products are shipped from within the US to US customers, USPS post is used and orders are received within 4-5 days of orders placed
Orders from outside of the US are shipped from our base in Vanuatu. We ship using registered mail services with Vanuatu Post,with most orders taking 5-10 working days to arrive.
What is the shipping cost
Shipping Cost to destinations world wide for all retail sales are inclusive of the price you see on our site.
Where do you source your Kava from?
This depends on the product.
We source island fresh Borogu and Melo Melo for our Quick Kava Premium – you can check out more info on this by clicking here.
For Our Quick Kava range we source various kava types from Kava Traders/Growers in Port Vila. We only purchase 80/20 lateral root kava and we do not purchase tu dai –two day kava. For more info on this click here.
What is your refund policy?
Our refund policy is simple. If you are unhappy with the product, contact us then post it back - make sure that less than 20% of the product has been used - and we will refund your monies plus the cost of posting it back once we receive the item. You don't get fairer than that!

How is the quality of VKS maintained
We source, manufacture and package our products between 24-72 hours of receiving the raw product, depending on the product. We package all our products in tamper proof sealed packaging. Because we are in the homeland of kava, we don’t need to prepare 6 months of products in advance, so you are guaranteed that the kava in its raw form and the end product is as fresh as you’ll get.
What is the dosage of kava required
This depends on the product:
Quick Kava Premium – one teaspoon mixed with water or a sweetener is enough to get the effects. Use more for a stronger kava experience
Quick Kava – one and a half - two teaspoons mixed with water or a sweetener is enough to get the effects. Use more for a stronger kava experience
K-Strips – One strip mixed with a hot beverage – not boiling, insert strip after letting the beverage cool for 5 minutes.
Milled Kava Powder, i.e. Pentecost Pride/Malekula Magic – A kilo bag of milled kava makes approx 5 litres of kava. A standard shell of kava is 50 mil's so you are looking at aprox. 100 servings! Ideal for you next kava party!
Is Kava Safe
This depends on the Kava and the kava product and who you bu. Unscrupulous kava dealers will blend tu-dai kava (which has damaging effects) with their kava, some exporters have even been known to mix saw dust with milled kava.
These are the facts. Kava products made using non chemical extraction, water based techniques has been deemed as safe by the World Health Organization in a recent report by them on hepatoxicity (toxic effects on the liver) of kava and kava products. Our Instant Kava Products; Quick Kava Premium and Quick Kava are made using cold water extraction techniques.
What is the difference between kava and kavakava
Nothing, they are one and the same, different countries refer to the Piper methysticum plant as either one or the other. For instance Samoa uses the term "kavakava" and Vanuatu uses simply "kava". So if you want to buy Vanuatu kava or buy Vanuatu kavakava, they are one and the same.
How do I pay and how do I know it’s secure?

What is the Shelf life of VKS products
All VKS products can be used for up to 18 months from time of packaging.
How do you consume Vanuatu kava and Vanuatu Kava Store Products
Our instant kava Products, Quick Kava Premium is used simply by mixing them in a glass of water or cordial. They are almost 100% soluble and within seconds you are ready to consume.

Vanuatu Kava Powder is prepared in a more traditional method. You can either use a blender to mix the kava with water, or blend it by hand. You then simply use a stocking of similar fabric to strain the kava juice so that you don’t have pieces of kava in the blend.

What is the active ingredient in kava.
