Marang-Marang kava is a prized kava strain from the island of Tanna in Vanuatu. When you buy kava, such as Marang-Marang kava powder, you are getting a 100% noble variety of kava, with no other types of kava blended in. The Tanna Kava team source direct from their village areas in Tanna and it is a matter of pride for them, as it is us, that we do not blend any of our kava products with non noble varieties such as the Tu Dai strain found in PNG.

Marang-Marang is a smooth tasting kava and its effect is slightly milder than Kaollik. Whereas Kaollik comes on strong after your first shell, Marang-Marang "creeps" up on you, so when you buy kava powder, particularly the Marang-Marang range, don't rush into the next serving.
